Rickards Elected to the Board of Trustees of the Academy for Urban Leadership Charter School in Perth Amboy

Jordan Rickards has been elected to a three year term as the newest member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy for Urban Leadership Charter School in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  The school has an enrollment of five hundred students in grades 8-12, and will expand by an additional one hundred students in 2017 when it adds a seventh grade.  As of 2015, it boasts a 99% graduation rate and a 95% college admissions rate.  Their students out-perform the local district on PARCC Language Arts and Math, and the Academy achieved a tier one ranking in its performance frameworks.

The Academy has been operating under a charter granted by the State Commissioner of Education on September 8, 2010.
